About the Portfolio
This Portfolio is meant to celebrate the beauty of women and illustrate anthropomorphic wildlife in a sexy, pin-up style. Rather than try to emulate any one pin-up artist or style, artists were invited to use their imagination and even stretch the boundaries of traditional pin-ups in order to present a wide variety of costumes, backgrounds, and situations from playful, cute, and classic to contemporary, detailed and high-tech. In this way we hoped to appeal to a wide audience by offering something for everyone. We hope you enjoy the Portfolio as much as we enjoyed putting it together. Thank you for your interest!

Q: Can I order it online?
A: It is no longer available online through lulu, and it is out of print. It may be available for sale at conventions through individual artists, who have a limited numer of copies.
Q: How will it be printed? What will it look like?
A: It has been printed in book-form through lulu.com. The book itself is 8-1/2" x 11", paperback, perfect-bound, with 56 pages, featuring 40 portfolio pieces created especially for this project. It also has 8 pages of sketches and works-in-progress images, as well as an artist directory and table of contents. The cover is printed on heavy, glossy stock, and the interior is color.
Q: Can I order individual prints?
A: We are asking artists to withold individual sales of prints for the first year while the Portfolio is being introduced. After that time (after June 2010) the artists will be free to sell prints as they like. Contact information for the artists is available on the portfolio image page; click each artist's name to be taken to their personal site or art archive.
Q: Will the original images or prints be available?
A: Artists are free to sell their originals OR one print of each of their images this year (2009), and all artists will be able to sell prints, bookmarks, t-shirts, or whatever they like with their image on it a year after the Portfolio's release. A number of the images will be available at various conventions and through personal sale; contact the artist(s) for more information.
Q: It seems expensive to order the whole book! What if I only want a few of the images?
A: We are aiming at keeping the costs down - and all things considered, it offers a whole lot for the price! Consider, If someone were to buy 5 individual prints at $10 per print, that would be more than the price of the entire Portfolio. Instead, for a GREAT price, they're getting the art they want AND a whole lot of other beautiful art from some very talented artists. All in all, a wonderful deal! And as always, the originals or one print may be available if someone is only interested in certain images, or they may purchase prints or other items after the first year. Contact information for the artists is available on the portfolio image page; click each artist's name to be taken to their personal site or art archive.
Q: Are you still looking for new artists?
A: Not at this time. The book has been printed.
