- WEB SITES: You may use it on your webpage (but it would be cool if you put my name and/or a link back to my site as an acknowledgement. Thanks!)
- REFERENCE: By all means, if you like you may use it for reference, though I'd appreciate an "inspired by" notice in your image description if you post it somewhere.
- TATTOOS: I've had a few people ask to use some of my art for tattoos, which was a big honor, but if you do that, I'd love it if you'd send me a pic of the finished piece! I really admire and appreciate the work of a good tattoo artist.
- COUNTED CROSS-STITCH PATTERNS: You may create them from my art for your own personal use, but you must email me for permission if you plan to SELL the patterns you generate (on eBay, etc.). I DO usually grant permission for this, but I appreciate being asked in this case. Please include a copyright notice or a link to Synnabar.com.
- "VIRTUAL" ART / STICKERS / CLOTHING ETC.: You may create them from my art for your own personal use, but you must email me for permission if you plan to SELL the items you generate (on chat programs like Second Life, IMVU, and the like). I DO usually grant permission for this, but I appreciate being asked in this case. Please include a copyright notice or a link to Synnabar.com.
- AVATARS & USERPICS: I do often grant permission for people to use art I have created for MYSELF for userpics and avatars (except for Synnabar; she's my own personal avatar). You do not need to email me about that.
However: ABOUT ART I'VE DONE FOR OTHERS: PLEASE DO NOT use anyone else's character I've drawn (as gift art, etc.) for your own personal character's image/avatar without asking the proper creators for permission! I don't own the intellectual rights to other peoples' characters even if I did the art for them.
Of course, any artworks on this site created by other artists are still the properties of their creators too, and you MUST get permission from them as well before using anything.

Permissions
You DO NOT have to email me to ask for permission if you use my art for tubes, signatures, brushes, etc., though emails are welcome if you'd like to show me what you did with them. All you have to do is follow these guidelines, and you may copy and paste this information where necessary, or link back to this page.
- You may not re-sell or use any tag graphics created by you or your group for profit; I reserve the right to revoke permission for violators of this or any other of my requirements.
- You may crop, re-size (in proportion) and flip images, and remove backgrounds from graphics.
- You may add music and/or small animations (eyes moving, tail flipping, small color changes etc.).
- You need only include ONE of these on your graphic: "© synnabar.com" OR "© S. M. Bittler", OR a link back to www.synnabar.com, though you may use a combination if you prefer.
- You may not under any circumstances use my art to create obscene tag graphics; please keep things to a G (preferred) or PG rating.
- Please do NOT use images of Synnabar (for some examples see HERE), as I use her as my personal logo. Thanks!
NOTE: If you have emailed me in the past and NOT gotten a reply (as in, I'd fallen behind - sorry!), you do NOT need to email me again asking for permission IF you adhere to the guidelines above; consider permission granted if so. Thank you!
